Sho-Ni-Shen

Sho-Ni-Shen is needless acupuncture for children. It involves light brushing on the skin using Sho-Ni-Shen tools. At Elite we use this technique to help children with all types of problems from digestive issues and cholic to asthma or even sleep disturbances. Sho-Ni-Shen is a Japanese treatment modality we use on newborns to young teens.

What to expect: Your child will lay on the table and light brusing of the skin is done. Treatments usually take 10-15 min and involve various body parts, most common, arms, legs and back..

How many visits? This depends on your child and their diagnosis. Like acupuncture it is a progression of treatments. Each child is evaluated individually.
